  In 1994, I moved my young family to Forest with my new job. I and my wife were lifelong Baptists and both graduates of Samford University (Baptist university). We visited a few churches and were amazed at the friendliness and sweet acceptance of the members of Forest United Methodist Church. We have since moved but I look back at the time spent at Forest United Methodist Church as part of the foundation of my children's now adult life
